Purple Door Ranch was built in 1958 on an old walnut orchard on Pleasanton's West side. It is a tranquil, organic space where you can find apricots in the spring, grapes in the summer, and flocks of turkey and herds of deer year-round.
This landscape project added a 40,000 gallon cistern under an elegant bocce court with a seating patio and large boulders retaining the hillside. The new pool has an embedded boulder and is
surrounded by a natural stone seat wall.
The patio adjacent to the house includes a seating area, an outdoor kitchen, a recycled concrete seat wall and a custom-made concrete trough water feature.
